9.1    Facility Management

Each Facility within Platinum 5.0 requires a defined Facility structure. The structure of an organisation in Platinum 5.0 is as follows:

 

·         Organisation

·         Facilities (can be single or multiple, depending on the size of the organisation)

·         Units

·         Sub-Units

·         Rooms

·         Beds

·         Elements (can be added to any level)

 

The Facility structure is usually set up by Leecare Solutions during the initial installation of Platinum 5.0 based upon information provided by the organisation to the installation team.  This structure can be reviewed and edited by an organisation administrator via the Facility Builder.  The number total number of beds across the organisation within Platinum 5.0 cannot exceed the total number of beds licensed by the organisation with Leecare Solutions.

 

If required, facilities and/or facility components (i.e. units, sub-units, rooms and beds) can be de-activated.  Deactivating the facility or part of the facility will remove it from menus throughout the system.  A facility or facility component cannot be deactivated if it contains occupied beds.
