To view a Resident Page or enter details into the system for a particular Resident, you must first select the Resident. Resident search fields are present on many screens within Platinum 5.0. Resident search functionality in Platinum 5.0 is permissions based, for example, only Users with the relevant permissions will be able to search for un-admitted or archived Residents.
There are three Resident search options in the top tool bar in Platinum 5.0:
i. Quick Search – allows a User to conduct a quick search for an admitted Resident by entering the first few letters of their name. Alternatively, they can scroll through a list of admitted Residents or all Residents
ii. Advanced Search – allows a User to conduct a more comprehensive Resident search, based on any combination of name, current facility, current admission state, archive status and/or bed allocation history.
iii. Recent Residents – displays the previous twelve Residents accessed by the logged-in User at a facility.
It is important to note that only Residents to whom a User has been assigned User/Resident permissions will be displayed during a Resident search. (Please refer to the User Administration section of this manual for further information on User/Resident permissions)
