v Users can only add a resident/client’s Medicare number and details via the “Edit Profile / Resident” screen.
v The IRN number is the Individual Reference Number to the left of the resident’s name on their Medicare card.
v The Medicare number is validated and will not save if it is not ten digits long or a Medicare Approved number.
v The details will populate all areas of the program where a Medicare number exists e.g. Health Management Assessment. The details will appear in these locations but will be ‘greyed out’ to prevent data from being entered anywhere but via the Resident’s Profile.
