Diversional Therapy programs can be supported using Platinum 5.0. Diversional Therapy assessments, care planning, daily records and evaluations can be recorded within the system.
Assessment & Planning:
Please also refer to How to Card – ‘Create an Activities Plan: Occupational / Diversional / Other Therapy’
v A resident’s Social / Leisure Profile is used to enter all Social / Leisure needs and activites- related details
v A resident’s Activities Plan: Occupational / Diversional / Other Therapy includes the Social Leisure Profile details and is the ‘Activities Plan’. Some of the details from the Activities Plan also exist in the Care Plans but the Activities Plan is to be relied upon for the most detailed information.
The Resident Activities Preferences Report identifies the preferred activities of all residents. Data in this report is populated from residents’ Activities Plans. This enables a facility wide activities program to be developed.
v To access this report, select Reports – Quality – Resident Activities Preferences
v The report will appear showing all activities in the checklist. Residents who currently enjoy this activity will have a ‘Y’ in the column under the activity. The total number or residents who enjoy an activity is displayed at the bottom of each column.
